CLE Program Description

This program includes a series of entertaining vignettes with professional actors, designed to teach effective cross-examination strategies for uniquely challenging witnesses. Gain insights on preparing an effective cross examination, gaining and maintaining control over problematic witnesses and effectively using documents and deposition testimony in your cross examination. The seminar will also provide helpful tips on cross examination in “virtual” settings such as Zoom. The seminar will include tips for preparing for your cross examination, even when you are still at the pleading stage, and will also address such issues as how to reign in the “Political Talk Show Witness” who is determined to answer any question except the question you actually asked. You can earn 3 substantive CLE credits and 1 ethics CLE credit at this practical and engaging seminar.
