March 4, 2015

Tim Holman spoke as a panelist at the March 3, 2015 quarterly meeting of the Probate and Trust Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association on The New Pennsylvania Power of Attorney Statute: What You Need to Know NOW.”  The seminar, presented by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, was heavily attended (150 attendees in Philadelphia and 150 in satellite locations) and, according to PBI, drew very favorable reviews from the attendees.  Tim offered the audience his “fiduciary litigator” take on the language of the new statute, the problems it was intended to address, and some potential opportunities and problems it created for lawyers, their clients, agents under powers of attorney, and financial institutions which interact with principals and agents.
