Dan Boose Presents About Fiduciary Duties and Litigation for Pennsylvania Bar Institute
March 30, 2025On March 28, 2025, Dan Boose was faculty for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute seminar on Fiduciary Duties and Litigation 2025. Dan taught the three-hour presentation with co-faculty John Higgins, Esquire and Chloe Mullen-Wilson, Esquire, and it covered a diverse range of topics including the duties owed by different types of fiduciaries, the fiduciary exception to the attorney/client privilege, derivative duties, how to properly counsel a fiduciary in administration and litigation, fee disputes in the Orphans’ Court, what to do when fiduciaries breach their duties and remedies for such breaches, surcharge actions, removal actions, discovery disputes, and how to defend breach of fiduciary duty matters, among other important topics.
The seminar was recorded by PBI, and will be available for purchase and viewing on PBI’s website soon. The seminar is eligible for three hours of CLE credit, and is highly recommended for practitioners counseling fiduciaries, anyone involved in Orphans’ Court litigation relating to breaches of fiduciary duties, and litigators looking for the most recent relevant caselaw on a variety of issues affecting fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and their counsel.
